It contributes to sustainable development, the proper recovery of agricultural and livestock waste, economic revitalisation, and the creation of green jobs.”
“At Biorig, we are driving solutions for the production of organic fertilisers from agricultural and livestock waste, as well as for the capture and use of biogenic CO₂, an essential element in the production of sustainable fuels.”

Biorig is currently developing 10 biomethane facilities in Castilla y León, and has a portfolio of over 20 projects across Spain. Biomethane is a renewable fuel that can be injected into the gas grid. It is obtained through the purification of biogas, which is itself produced via anaerobic digestion of organic waste. It is considered an essential renewable source for advancing the development of energy decarbonisation.
