Who we are

Biorig is the biomethane production division of Solarig. Its activity is focused on the recovery of organic waste for its transformation into renewable gases and certified organic fertilisers, driving the development of solutions within the framework of the circular economy.

We are committed to the most important challenge of our generation: the energy transition. We aim to contribute to the sustainable development of society through the implementation of biomethane plants. We are active throughout the biomethane production value chain: from the energy recovery of organic waste from the territories in which we operate to its transformation into green energy. 

We design biomethane plants that are 100% sustainable, with zero water consumption and emissions, respectful of the rural environment. Our facilities comply with the most stringent environmental and sustainable agricultural soil nutrition regulations, as well as the highest technical and safety standards.

Biorig is part of Solarig, a company that develops infrastructures necessary for the energy transition and builds, operates and financially structures large-scale renewable projects.

It currently manages more than 13 GW of photovoltaic assets and has a portfolio of more than 20 GW of power projects in 12 countries. The company accelerates global decarbonisation where it operates through renewable energy solutions, green gases and sustainable fuels.
